7-DAY RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At Maddy Ying Jewellery, we want you to feel confident in your purchase. We offer a 7-day appreciation period from the date of delivery, allowing you to see and experience your item in person.


If you are not satisfied, you may request a return within this period, subject to the conditions below.

1. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

  • Request must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your order
  • Item must be:
    • Unworn and unused
    • In original condition
  • All must be intact:
    • Product tags
    • Security loop
    • Original packaging
    • Certificate (if applicable)
    • Free gifts (if any)

⚠️ Items with removed or damaged tags/security loops are strictly non-returnable ⚠️

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Personalized or custom-made items
  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons)
  • Sale / discounted items
  • Crystals and non-jade items (due to natural and subjective variations)

3. Return Approval Required

  • All returns must be approved before shipping.
  • Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

4. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • We strongly recommend courier providers that provide:
    • Trackable shipping
    • Insurance coverage

⚠️ We are not responsible for:

  • Lost return parcels
  • Damaged returns during transit

Any customs duties or taxes incurred during return will be deducted from the refund.

5. Return Timeframe After Approval

  • Approved returns must be shipped within 3 days of approval.
  • Late returns may be rejected.

6. Inspection & Rejection

All returned items will be inspected upon receipt.

We reserve the right to reject returns if:

  • Item shows signs of wear, damage, or alteration
  • Item does not match original condition
  • Required components (tags, packaging, certificate) are missing

If a return is rejected:

  • The item will be sent back to the customer
  • Return shipping cost will be borne by the customer

7. Refund Process

  • Refunds are processed only after inspection and approval.
  • Refund will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Processing time: 7–14 working days.

8. Abuse & Protection Policy

To protect the integrity of our products and business, we reserve the right to:

  • Refuse returns from customers with excessive return history
  • Reject suspicious or inconsistent claims
  • Limit or deny returns in cases of suspected misuse or abuse

9. Important Note on Authenticity

This return policy covers change-of-mind returns only.
