1. Scope of Guarantee

This guarantee applies only to jadeite (翡翠) products sold by Maddy Ying Jewellery.

⚠️ This policy does not apply to crystals, gemstones, or other materials, which may have natural variations and are not covered under lab-based authenticity disputes.

2. Authenticity Guarantee For Jadeite

All jadeite products sold are guaranteed to be Type A jadeite.


If proven otherwise through a recognized and legitimate gemological laboratory, you are eligible for a refund under the conditions outlined below.

3. 90-Day Verification Period

We provide a 90-day authenticity guarantee from the date of delivery.

  • Customers are encouraged to conduct independent lab testing within this period
  • Claims must be submitted within 7 days of receiving lab results


⚠️ Claims submitted after 90 days may not be eligible for a refund and may be subject to additional review at our discretion.

4. Approved Gem Lab Verification

  • Testing must be conducted by a recognized and reputable gemological laboratory.
  • We reserve the right to:
    • Verify the issuing laboratory
    • Request additional or secondary verification

Customers must provide:

  • Official lab certificate
  • Matching product details (e.g. weight, description, images)

5. Product Condition Requirement

To qualify for a refund:

  • The item must be in original condition
  • No signs of:
    • wear
    • damage
    • alteration
    • stone replacement or resetting

👉 Items that have been modified or damaged after delivery will not be eligible for refund.

6. Mandatory Return For Verification

  • The product must be returned to us for inspection before any refund is processed.
  • Return shipping costs will be covered by us only if the item is verified as not Type A jadeite.

  • Customers are responsible for initial lab testing costs.
  • If the jadeite is confirmed to be not Type A, we will reimburse reasonable testing fees.

  • Reject claims with incomplete, inconsistent, or suspicious documentation
  • Refuse refunds where:
    • the returned item does not match original sales records
    • there are signs of tampering, switching, or alteration
  • Take appropriate action in cases involving fraudulent certificates or misuse of this policy

  • Crystals and crystal jewellery
  • Other gemstones
  • Non-jade materials
  • Change of mind or personal preference
  • Normal wear and tear
